The journey to the glacier base camp is best done by super jeep, driving up onto the icy beast itself for a taste of off-roading in a huge truck. Iceland has numerous glaciers to choose from but our favorites for stag snowmobiling are Langjökull glacier, on the Golden Circle, or even the infamous Eyjafjallajökull, the glacier volcano which erupted in 2010 - don't worry, it's safe now!
